What is a transit visa?
A transit visa to Ukraine is a type of visa issued to foreigners or stateless persons for whom Ukraine is only a transit country and their destination is any third country.
A transit visa is issued as a single, double and multiple entry for the period specified in the documents that are the basis for issuing such a visa, but for no more than one year, unless otherwise stipulated by international treaties of Ukraine.
Who needs a transit visa to Ukraine?
Foreigners or stateless persons who plan to cross the territory of Ukraine as a transit point and who, according to the current legislation, need a visa to enter Ukraine.

- a document confirming transit passage (visa to a third country (if necessary), travel ticket, etc.);
- a document confirming transit transportation of goods and passengers by road transport;
- a license to carry out international transportation, issued by the relevant competent body of a foreign state.
How long can you get a transit visa to Ukraine?
The period of stay in the territory of Ukraine during each transit passage through its territory should not exceed five days.
